Claire Foley is originally from Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick. She graduated from University College Cork in 2012 with an honours Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree. Graduating top of her class, Claire was awarded Best Student in Dentistry 2012 by the Irish Dental Association.

During her time in college, Claire was also awarded Best Performance in Oral Health and Development in 4th Year by Henry Schein, Best Student in Fixed Prosthodontics by Claudius Ash Aware, the Restorative Dentistry Award by the Dental Council, the Dr. Noel Hayes Award for Oral Surgery, 2nd prize for the H. H. Stewart Scholarship for Dentistry by the National University of Ireland as well as earning an entrance scholarship by UCC for achieving the maximum 600 points in her Leaving Certificate.

Claire is a member of the Irish Dental Association and has recently completed a Basic Life Savers Course for Healthcare Providers in Oct 2014. She has worked as a locum in a number of practices in Limerick and Cork since graduating and has gained much experience.

Claire really loves her job and takes pride in her work. She takes a special interest in working with children and nervous patients, teaching them about their oral health and giving them the time and encouragement they need. As a young dentist, Claire is up to date in all modern techniques and is happy to discuss all treatment options with her patients.

When Claire is not working, she loves to travel home to Abbeyfeale to spend time with her family and friends. She also loves reading and it is hard to find her without her Kindle.

Patrick O’Brien graduated with a degree in dentistry from UCC in 1988. He moved to Kent in the UK where he worked for three years before returning to Ireland 1n 1992.

Dr. O’Brien started a practice in Athy County Kildare in 1997. It was always his intention to return to his roots in County Cork and he bought and renovated the Old Rectory in Drimoleague to provide a home for his family.

Patrick is commited to providing a reliable and friendly service, maintaining value for money, while at the same time giving a high standard of care. He is a member of the Irish Dental Association and regularly attends on-going educational courses, both at home and abroad.

He has an interest in taking part in the local community and writes a column for local magazines.

Dunmanway Dental Practice provides a dentistry servive to the Dunmanway and West Cork areas.

The dentists located in Main Street, Dunmanway accepts private patients, Social Welfare and Medical Card patients.
